A chin cord with a natural wooden bead secures the hat in windy conditions. The cotton lining and moisture-wicking internal headband offer long-lasting comfort and luxury.

We utilize industry standards to ensure you receive true UPF 50+ protection.

We analyze every fabric for both UPF and UVA/UVB ratings, testing at least 10 spots and a minimum of 3 times (more for stripes, multicolor patterns, or prints) to verify the authentic UPF 50+ protection.

Our technical designers engineer Coolibar's tried-and-true UPF 50+ apparel and accessories through 2D/3D pattern drafting, with a focus on fit, silhouette, comfort, and movement for specific outdoor activities. Our team of users and super-users extensively test every new product in real-world conditions to ensure each detail performs as designed, feels great on the body, and provides protection from 98% of UVA/UVB rays from sunrise to sunset.
